‘Children of Blood and Bone’ by Tomi Adeyemi

I was excited to read up on the buzz following Tomi Adeyemi’s book , “Children of Blood and Bone”.  When I learned that she signed a multi-million dollars publishing deal for this book, I knew that I needed to read this book to find out what made this book command that sort of amount for a first time author. I enjoyed reading  her book, but I had higher expectations.
